BRAD NECKERMANN
SENIOR ASSISTANT PROSECUTOR
brad.neckermann@prosecutors.mo.govBrad Neckermann is a 2009 graduate of Saint Louis University School of Law. He graduated law school with a certificate in criminal and civil litigation and was also a member of the Saint Louis University Law Journal. Mr. Neckermann has been a licensed attorney for over five years and is currently president of the Phelps County Bar Association. He joined the Phelps County Prosecutor’s Office on February 1, 2012 and has served as an Assistant Prosecutor since that date. Mr. Neckermann prosecutes most of the property crimes committed in Phelps County, including burglary, stealing, and tampering with motor vehicles. Prior to joining the Prosecutor’s Office, he worked at the Rolla Public Defender’s Office for more than two years.

 

 NICHOLAS CHLYSTA
ASSISTANT PROSECUTOR
nicholas.chlysta@prosecutors.mo.govNicholas Chlysta is a 2007 graduate of St. Louis University School of Law. Mr. Chlysta is a past president and the current secretary of the Phelps County Bar Association. He is serving as an Assistant Prosecutor for the Phelps County Prosecutor’s Office for the second time. During his time away from the Prosecutor’s Office, Mr. Chlysta was an associate attorney for the law firm of Steelman, Gaunt & Horsefield where his practice concentrated on civil litigation, worker’s compensation, and criminal defense. In 2014, Mr. Chlysta was selected as one of Missouri’s “Top 40 under 40” trial attorneys practicing in the area of “civil plaintiff law” by the National Trial Lawyers. He is a member of the Missouri Bar, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, and is also licensed in the Eastern US District Courts of Missouri.
Kara2  Kara Breshears
ASSISTANT PROSECUTOR
kara.breshears@prosecutors.mo.govKara Breshears is a 2011 graduate of Universiety of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law. She was formerly the Senior Associate Attorney with the Piatchek Law Firm, LLC in Springfiled, Missouri where her practice focused domestic and criminal law matters.  She is a member of the Missouri Bar, Southern Missouri Women Lawyers, National Association of Professional Women, and Health Care Compliance Association.  She has served as Income/Safety Community Investment Council Co-Chairperson and Committee Chairperson of the United Way of the Ozarks and is actively involved in the Sigma Sigma Sigma Alumnae Group at Missouri State University.
